My Boy Blue  *  2005 - 2009

MBB was an acoustic duo that played anything the crowd wanted to hear.  We were there to play music --but also to entertain and party with the crowd. With a song list of over 500 cover songs -- we could handle most requests.  Sometimes we partied a little too much as the crowds loved to play -- "let's get the band drunk".  Needless to say things got out of hand from time to time.  I'm thankful for those days -- and thankful they are behind me.

The Singer/Songwriter Years  *  2000 -- 2005

I released 5 cd's of original music and traveled to any place that would allow me to play original music.  And in 2001 -- I packed up my car and headed to Austin, Texas to embed myself into the thriving music scene. I performed at every and any singer/songwriter night I could find including several at the well known and popular Cactus Club.  I got to meet and hang out with several legendary Texas musicians too.  But mostly I listened and learned from some of the most amazing songwriters.

The Mackerels  *  1997 -- 2001

The Mackerels were a bluesy rock and roll band whose only mission was to be the life of the party.  The Cat's Eye Pub in Fells Point was a perfect fit for us and we played in a regular rotation for 5 years including 3 New Years Eve gigs at one of the coolest bars in town.  We even released a few cassette tapes of original material -- which eventually became the starting point for my solo singer/songwriter career.

The Rattle Cats   *  1989 -- 1996

The Rattle Cats started as a bar band and morphed into an original act that released two records.  We played the mid-atlantic area with highlights at The China Club, Lone Star Cafe and The Ritz in NYC as well as several performances at the legendary Hammerjacks in Baltimore opening for Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers.  In 1994 were asked to audition for the opening slot at Farm Aid.We played Artscape, Fells Point Fest, Towson Fest, several Batman Booze Cruises and events for WGRX.

Richard Taylor & The Ravers  *  1986 -- 1989

The Ravers were a bluesy garage rock band that also released several albums of original material on Run Wild Records.  We showcased several times at the famous 8 x 10 Club in Baltimore and were the headline act on NYE in 1988.  We even received regular airplay on WHFS alternative radio.

 Client 9  *  2009 --  Present

Client 9 is a no frills party rock bar band!  Did you know?  The ex governor of New York, Elliot Spitzer was known only to his regular call girl as Client 9.  She would get a text from her madam that simply said:

YOU have a date with Client 9
